Forestry Sustainability Certification

Forestry sustainability certification verifies that timber and forest-based products are sourced from responsibly managed forests — protecting biodiversity, local communities and long-term timber supply, and giving your business a traceable, defensible supply chain.

PEFC — Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification

PEFC is the world's largest forest certification system, covering more than 280 million hectares of certified forest through an alliance of national, third-party-audited forest management systems.

Certification operates at two levels: forest management certification, which confirms a forest is managed to recognised sustainability criteria, and chain-of-custody certification, which tracks certified material through processing, manufacturing and trade so companies can make credible sustainability claims about the wood and paper products they sell.

We help forest operators, sawmills, and manufacturers close the gap between current practice and PEFC's requirements, and build the documentation trail auditors expect at every stage.

Why get certified

Benefits of Forestry Sustainability Certification.

Certification gives buyers and regulators independent proof that your timber is responsibly sourced — opening doors that uncertified suppliers simply can't access.

01

Market access

Many retailers, publishers and construction firms now require PEFC or equivalent certification before sourcing timber or paper products — certification keeps you in that supply chain.

02

Credible sourcing claims

Chain-of-custody certification lets you make verifiable sustainability claims about your products, backed by independent audit rather than self-declaration.

03

Long-term resource protection

Certified forest management practices protect the biodiversity and yield of the forests your business depends on for the long term.
